    Default Confused about Christmas shopping

I recently retired and one of my goals is to bargain Christmas shop. I am thnking ahead and getting ideas. I have this opinion that prices go up at Christmas time. The problem is when I find something I want to purchase, the return policies don't extend that far out. What if it does not work or does not fit? Mostly I am buying for Grandkids. Any suggestions?

I buy things all year long. I have rarely had a problem with an item not working - the not fitting is different though. I also tend to buy 1 or 2 sizes bigger for children. That way they can grow into it.

Depending on how old they are, you can use some of the shoebox ideas - there was another post here on Frugal Village about it. Like a craft shoebox - fill shoebox with pkg of crayons, paper, markers, scissors, stickers, chenille sticks, Popsicle sticks, anything craft like.

    Good Luck
