Default Do you buy gifts for your pets?

We have always bought Christmas gifts for our pets. When I was a kid we even had a stocking for my dog, Duchess.
Even now we buy for all of the animals here. Sometimes we buy a pack of something, open it, and wrap one for each dog. But they always have presents under the tree. The cats too.

Do you buy for your pets?

    Silly question Sherry!

Do I buy for my pets? Absolutely! They have more gifts under the tree than Dh and I! I buy for my brother's and sisters' pets too!

Mostly, for my cats I make them new catnip toys. But they like the paper and ribbons the best!

Of course, they each get some new toys and treats.

My older dog even opens his own presents

My Duchess always opened her own too, seadream. We used to open her things and wrap them up so she could smell them through the paper.

Always. They usually get new frisbees or new squeaky footballs to play with outside and some treats. Last year I made homemade cheesy dog biscuits for them - don't know if I'll do that this year or get them some edible goodies like the Nylabone/Gumabone peanut, carrot, etc. bones.

In the past we have always wrapped their gifts, but this year I think I am just going to do 3 stockings (one for each dog).

I guess I'm the odd person out here. I buy little treats for our "Sassie" cat once a month so she doesn't get anything special for Christmas.

LOL I was thinking on this the other day. When we had just 1 dog and 2 cats we did. This year thought we have 2 dogs and 7 cats. So I am not sure yet what I will do.

We always buy Bennie a large rawhide bone to chew on while we open our presents. He only gets one a year and he loves it.
