    Default Homemade gifts for teachers?

    My BIL's girlfriend is a teacher, and I am trying to think of some gifts I could make at home for her, or even some kind of gift basket I could put together rather cheaply. I'd love to hear some ideas, and if you're a teacher yourself, what would you like?!

    We usually buy her a board game that she wants, or a gift card to somewhere. I of course don't mind gifts that are not teacher-related too. She is young, 25 years old, and pretty easygoing.

    You could make up a gift basket with hand cream, hard candy or her favorite chocolate, breath mints, package of cup a soup. I have seen lots of those chicken soup for the soul at good will maybe you could find one for the teachers soul. I was just at the dollar tree this weekend and they had some nice body butters.

    I love boardgames, I get happy when I receive boardgames. What about a boardgame in a party bag and include some pretzels, chips and soda for an "instant gathering in a bag"?

    For the teacher theme: what about collecting stickers, stampers, pens, anti-bacterial hand gel, etc. and putting together a basket? That's what I'm thinking about doing for my DD's kindergarten teacher.
