Christmas music already?
I turned one of my favorite radio stations on yesterday morning and they were playing Christmas music already. They'll play it 24/7 until the holidays are over. :gaah:
I mean, it's early October.....I about fell over. :crazy1:

I had to stop at Lowes this morning and noticed the outdoor furniture has been put away and the Christmas trees are up. Next up was Wal-Mart. I always get a kick out of all the Halloween decorations, so I was amusing myself with all the cool stuff and noticed in the aisles behind it were, you guessed it, Christmas trees and decorations! I'm now reminded that I have none of my Christmas shopping done. Bummer.

I know I'm in the minority, but I wouldn't mind listening to some Christmas music on the radio now
I actually keep my CD's in the changer all year long.

I can't believe it. I would really be tired of it by Christms if I started listening now.
I was at Walmart yesterday, took, and noticed the entire inside gardening area is Christmas stuff.

I love Christmas music, too...but COME ON!!! DH and I don't start listening to it until the day after Thanksgiving. That's when the tree goes up and it's Christmas music until Christmas!

Wow! In my area they've always waited until the day after Thanksgiving to start playing Christmas music.

Heh, I listen to Christmas music all year long. My autistic 10 year old sings Jingle Bell Rock on repeat all the time. It sort of gets annoying but I think it's cute.

Glad I'm not the only one to think I was nuts. I may be north of the border but we have flyers that have fall, Thanksgiving and Halloween decorations and themed grocery lay outs but on the following pages are Christmas themed clothes, accessories and decorations. When are we going to start seeing Easter?? LOL

Here they start the day after Thanksgiving.
I wouldn't mind here a song or 2 but not all day long. Not yet anyway.Sue

Maybe they think that by playing some cheery Christmas tunes that it will take our minds off the financial disaster that is going on. It just makes me think of all the families that will not be able to have a merry Christmas due to the sad state of our economy this year.

Wow...that's just messed up!!

I've noticed a few Christmas things out already in stores here, too... Seems ridiculous!!
The only thing that I could see as "reasonable" to have out now for Christmas stuff is any fabric/craft items...so there would be time to make that "special something" if that's what a person wanted to do.Kace - married to Dh 12 years
