    Default Got Dd's Christmas present!!

I have been thinking about getting Sara a Wii for Christmas, well over the weekend, I looked on the internet and ended up buying her a Wii from ebay. I am sooooooo excited. For $340 we got the game console, two controllers, and two games!!! PLUS shipping was FREE!!!!

She is going to be so happy when she gets this, I just need the will power to NOT give it to her untill Christmas. It is going to be a LONG two months!!!

Does anyone else have the "big ticket item" for the kids yet?!?!?!

I got my son Rock Band. He's been saving for it for the past few months, he'll be surprised that I actually got it for him.

My dd8 is a different story....I have no idea what to get her, she has given me no suggestions whatsoever. Oh well.....

What is a "big ticket item"?

Is it the thing they want/asked for the most? The most expenisive thing? Is it something from the top sellers list in magazines and from radio?

In my opinion, the "big ticket item" is the thing that would cost the most and is wanted the most.

Since I got Sara the Wii, Santa will only be bringing a couple of smaller items...like pj's and a new toy or maybe a new game for the Wii.

Sounds like Sara will love the present.

I have the "Santa" present that my daughter is sure Santa will bring her. SO it fits part of the "big ticket item" criteria. She is sure he will bring a Junie B Jones Journal. She wanted one last year but I told her Santa knew she was to young for it. She said she is sure Santa will know she is old enough for it this year. I'm trying to decide if I am going to give her the lotion/lip gloss for her present from us or if I'm going to buy her a hula hoop.

For my pre-teen boy we are trying to decided between a converter box for the tv in his room or a mp3 player. We haven't decided yet. One of those will be from Santa and we are getting him a soccer ball.

I know that this isn't really what the post is for, but I have a Wii and LOVE IT! It's really a lot of fun even for the grown ups. We actually have little get togethers with our other married friends and play. The boxing is a ton of fun, and a heck of a workout too. The first time I played it I could barely lift my arms the next day!

The Wii systems looks so cool! It's definitely not in my Christmas budget. I can't imagine how excited your daughter will be on Christmas morning! We don't have kids of our own to shop for... the furbabies want lots of attention, extra play time & walks & daily food treats (I've seen their letter to Santa ).

We are getting Wesley two 'sorta big ticket items' this year. We've picked one up but we need to get the other one. The first is a Little Einsteins laptop computer. we still need to pick him up the Imaginext Pirate ship.
