    Question Sewing for Christmas?

What are you all sewing right now for Christmas?

I have two tote bags to hold knitting projects underway. So far the total cost has been $1 for the cording to go in them, and $4 for a spool of thread. I am also sewing Christmas stockings from the same fabric. It was a steal of a deal...a set of velvet drapes for $4 at the thrift store...4 m. of fabric easily 45" wide. I think I might save some for crazy quilting too.

    What's everyone else up to?

    I'm sewing:
    wonder wallets

    maybe some casserole covers
    pj bottoms
I hope I can get every thing finished.

I'm a newbie seamstress so I'm making two tutus for my girls (after browsing the prices at Etsy and experiencing sticker shock). The cost of the tule was about $15 but I'm sure I'll have some left over, and the cheapest tutus were $15 each.

I'm waiting for the name drawing at Thanksgiving, and then I may do some new sew fleece blankets.

I'm on the hunt for a cheap, used sewing machine so I can be even more crafty next year!

If you know another frugal person, cloth swiffers or cloth napkins would be nice. BTW the wet mop swiffers fit perfectly in a plastic shoe box or for the recycle ones an old shoe box.

I havent gotten into the sewing grove enough to sew for others but wanted to say how great it was that you all are!

There is nothing better than opening a handmade gift!
Plus just look on Etsy and see how much tour items run these days!
Gives you an appreciation for handmade.
