    Default Black Friday Shopping

I am gearing up and hoping to get most of my shopping done this Friday. Is anyone else going shopping this Friday?

I made the mistake of taking my mother shopping the day after Christmas once. ONCE. NEVER EVER AGAIN!! Good thing I wasn't carrying a gun that day....

I was kind of hoping to be done with shopping by Thanksgiving because any time after then is just going to be crazy. All I really need now are some baskets for gifts for teachers, and some stocking stuffers for the girls. Azalea wants a microscope and I have it picked out, I just need to order it from Amazon. Then I'm done.

I might use the BF sales to buy some new clothes for my husband and the kids, but that's probably it.

Whatever I can buy online is what I do or get a lot of it at my husbands work and the discount helps. My son always wants sports stuff and Dallas Cowboys stuff and not living in Texas, I have to buy on the net.

Girls are so easy to buy for and the stocking stuffers I do enjoy. The dollar store I love this time of year.

I am having a hard time getting motivated for Christmas and I am usually organized this time of year. Not sure what my problem is. Oh I know, it's our debt.

I'm an online shopper. I just finished all my shopping in one swoop this evening. I really don't like going to stores even at non holiday times, but black friday scares me out of my wits, lol. Although I was thinking about walking down to the little historic area we live on top of for the Midnight Madness thing they do that day, just to see what it's like.

NO way. My parents are crazy enough to do it but not me. Plus this year I have to work in our store (our warehouse opens a discount store only 4 times per year) in order to earn more vacation days. So i'll be working

I am so thankful that there isn't a Black Friday thing here in Canada. I'd still avoid the stores like the plague. Trying to go to Wal-Mart here (and there are tons of Wal-Marts in Calgary alone) during the non-holiday season is like madness. My husband said it's best at like 2am because that's when he woke up to get my birthday present two months ago.

I did my first big day of shopping yesterday and that was even hectic, given it was at 1pm. I'd sooner pay shipping charges and have my stuff delivered than go to stores on Black Friday in the US.
