Smile Christmas clothing -- wishes do come true

My Daughter wanted a Christmas shirt. Especially one with "jewels" on it.

Holiday clothing is one of those things I generally can't justify buying.

But she has wanted one for a few years now. So I looked.

Saw a Christmas tree shirt with "jewels" at the store. Couldn't talk myself into buying it. To expensive.

Saw almost the same Christmas tree shirt with "jewels" at the consignment shop. $5 Convinced myself that $5 could be better spent.

Saw the same Christmas tree shirt with "jewels" at the Goodwill for $2.69. Talked myself out of it. She doesn't really need a Christmas shirt.

Received some handmedowns for my daughter from a friend. Guess what was in there. Yep a Christmas tree shirt with "Jewels" !

Yes, she was one very excited second grade girl ( so was I). I have a feeling I'll be washing it a lot this Christmas season. I'm fine with that.

That is too funny! Wishes do come true!

I had to buy "new" boots last night and couldn't justify spending $30 on new ones, so I picked some up at Goodwill really cheap. Got them home and put them on and my 2nd grader looked at me and said "Mom, those aren't really your style." I just laughed and said "Whatever do you mean...Mom has second hand style, so these are perfect!"

Glad she'll have a "dazling" Christmas with her new sparkly shirt!

I was blown away when we found the Christmas Tree shirt with "jewels" in the hand me down bag.

I guess she was meant to wear a Christmas tree shirt with "jewel" this year.

Makes one wonder what star she has been wishing on or if she has been including her desire for a shirt like that in her prayers.
