Don't you just love it when things come together. I needed a basket to finish off a gift, so last night after work i stopped by goodwill. I didn't find anything that thrilled me. As i was walking around it dawned on me that i had some santa tins in my basement. Wouldn't you know it the tins will work perfectly for my gifts!!! So another gift done and i didn't have to spend a penny!! This teaches me i should take inventory of what i have.

I was just thinking the same thing yesterday. I had plans to really look around and see what I had today. Unfortunately I woke up sick. So I will have to do it in a day or so. But that is a point that I have really been falling down on here of late. I have spent way to much money this year and have very little to show for it. I am really so bummed right now with myself. But I am trying to regroup and do better in the days and year to come.

Well, I found out I need an extra gift for the family Christmas get together. So I plan to check my gift closet first. There should be 2 nice gifts that could work. May decide to add a little $5 item to one, but my budget can handle that. Need to see what extras I already have this weekend before my next shopping trip. Love to save where I can, especially at this time of the year!
