Default Who has not started Christmas shopping yet

Me, not a darn thing. Nada. Usually I am done about this time of year and it's wrapped under the tree and I even got my tree late out too.

I know mostly what I need to get and it's stuff I can't get online. I hate crowds and shopping so maybe that is why I am putting it off however I am the type of person that can get it all done in one day. Just waiting for that perfect day when I feel like it. *whistle*

I'm just not organized this year at all. I think I know why though.

    Anyone, Bular?

Me!! I haven't started yet either. I have never been one to shop early or throughout the year. I know what I am getting everyone it is just a matter of actually go out and doing!!
Many years I am shopping either 2 or 3 days before Christmas but have been known to shop Christmas Eve Day!!

I only have 3 small things for one of my kids and one for the other. I have nothing for the oldest. I haven't shopped that much because there just isn't money in the budget to shop. I am hoping for some sort of big miracle so that I can get my kids a few more things for Christmas.

I was going to say that I haven't but I did buy one gift. I was at target last night and saw an old movie that I remembered my MIL saying she wanted. So I grabbed it.

The only reason I haven't is because I'm scared to spend the money.

I have gotten most of mine done. I have two more final exams this week, then my semester is done and I will have the time to finish my Christmas shopping, get the cards done and mailed out, and start my baking.

Me! I'm hoping if I put it off long enough, it will just go away. Sigh.

Well it was driving me crazy and I woke up with energy this morning and the kids didn't have school because of the weather. Perfect! My daughter watched my son and step-daughter and I ran to a couple stores. I'd say I am about 90% done and even bought the stocking stuffers. It wasn't even that crowded and I swear I must have spent an hour playing in the toy department.lol

My step-daughters birthday is this Friday so I got that done too.

Yep, I am one of those that never shop through the year and really don't think about it.

Okay I can breath a little now. That OCD came out.

Just a question...you never buy gifts for your kids? What do you do? Just curious. Do you make stuff for the family?

I always say I am going to cut back every year and this year I did because I payed in cash and not used plastic. I spent less but got some good deals. It does help at the age that my kids are now though.

We have crazy debt and I hope you get your miracle.

I am making myself go Christmas shopping today and write and send our Christmas cards (Dh will not do this). I have only one gift so far and so many more to buy. I blame it on being 9 weeks pregnant, I've been exhausted and can barely get through the day-to-day without adding shopping to my list of things to do. I will have to go this afternoon after lunch and only spend a few hours tops shopping or I will get so tired I can't think and will need a nap wherever I am. I'm mostly shopping for Dh today, because he won't be with me. Then I'll wait until he's with me to get more, so he can drive!

Then my Dh mentions last night that he thought we were going to give a wedding photo of ourselves as gifts to some people this year. I said I didn't think we would have time to get the pictures printed and in frames for those I wanted to give pictures to. Of course being the last minute person he always is (he thinks there's time). If we don't get it done this week, then it's just not going to happen! I could kick him for finally getting on board with my ideas with two weeks to go. I gave up on the idea because I knew it would involve his help and before I was pregnant I could light a fire under his @$$ and get him to do things...now I've been too tired to care. I'll be back to my old self in no time though and he better be prepared then .

Haven't started & don't plan on it. I told everyone they're getting cookies & egg nog - don't buy me anything, buy the baby something. I'm thinking about proposing a new tradition to my family - shop after X-mas clearance and pick a day in January to celebrate LOL.

Glad I had mine done - leaving it to 2 men would have led me to a break down
