Ok, so now is is Apr. 2nd and I am just getting around to this post. I never go in this section, I will have to start! What a wondersul story and I think we will do the "tube" thing as well. We are trying to get the idea of "selflessness" into our 4 year-olds head right now. I have been blessed with an amazingly empathetic son who is now 6,he has the heart of a 40 year-old humanitarian, lol. My Aunt's church housed two homeless families last week, apparently each church in the area takes in 2 or 3 families and houses them for a week. The school districts pick the kids up whereever they are so they can attend school regularly and they offer the parents counseling in the form of Career, financial, and spiritual counseling during the day while the children are in school. So, upon hearing this I proceeded to go through my stockpile I had here and loaded up 6 bags pf items for them such as HBA stuff, food (not sure what they can take but I thought it might help the church provide meals for them), and some crayons and coloring books for the children. It made me feel wonderful to do such a thing while feeling sad for these families at the same time. I wish I could do more, but I hope that it was enough to show these people that there are caring people out there.

There is no such thing as a little act of kindness because sometimes it is the little things that speak the loudest in out walk. I too must thank you for bringing this older post up to present time. I am new to this site and it made me tear up as well. Kids, once you have them, your forever bound to the other mama's/papa's of the world. Thank you for your story it is always good to hear how God can make a peoples world better! (((Hugs)))
