Simple Gift Idea...

Years ago I got a gift from a friend that she had made. You can make it as big or as small as you want to, which makes it nice. The gift is a refrigerator magnet shaped & decorated like a wrapped present. Once you wrap your form (small box like the ones jewelry comes in or boxboard layered & glued together) in wrapping paper of your choice, you tie ribbon around it. On the top you glue down the following saying that you have printed & cut out; "This is a special gift, that you can never see. The reason it's so special, it's just to you from me. Whenever you are lonely or maybe feeling blue. Just hold this gift and know that I often think of you. Never do unwrap it, leave the ribbon tied. Just hold the box close to your heart and know it's filled with love inside." At the upper lefthand corner of the piece of paper you glue a tied bow and you put a magnet on the back if you wish.

My gift came from a very special friend and I've had it for over 20 years and she had to use a real typewriter to type her message. Cost: very little; Sentiment: priceless.
