Cool Doggie death over the Christmas Tree!!!

OK, so as I've mentioned before we got the Christmas tree, lil Sparky likes to mark his territory so, understandably I was worried about him doing his duty when we got the tree home and up!!
Well, we got it up Saturday and he's been great, dang, he hardly looked at it!
Of course I made the comment, " If he pee's on the Christmas tree, I'll take the rest of his goods and turn him into a girlie dog!" (keep in mind I just had him snipped a month agoish!)
So, this morning a hear crumpling paper and I know the kids are asleep and hubby is off to work, I walk out in the living room to find the lil $hit under the tree about to do his thing!! I hollered at him, and he took off like a bat out of hell!!
So here I am, with a freakin cardboard roll from wrapping paper in hand, chasing this dog the size of a football around the tree and the house smackin him every chance I get, till I finally got him out the damned door!!
I wish I had a camera running in this house all the time, I would be rich from the winnings from America's funniest home video's!!! I woke my kids during all of this and they (all of them) had tears running down their faces they were laughing so hard!!!

Not new, but this will be his first christmas with us (2nd christmas) and the pups very first Christmas of all!
I just knew his being so small and full of, " I'm the big bad man" attitude he would try marking the tree and was in total amazement when he refrained for a whole 5 days!!! The lil turd!!

I would have loved to see the action, as I thought those things only happened at my house!
We also have new puppies, (born 3/1/08) a male (fixed) and a female (fixed) this is their first Christmas also so we put our tree up HIGH......
I chase with a squirt bottle or news paper......with them being so little they are damn fast!

So I'm wondering, is he still a pup? could you crate train him?

She is, she is kennel trained too, he is not, he is 2 years old and she'll tear his head off if he goes near her kennel!!!
She has had that kennel for the entire 9 months she has been alive and I swear he can sniff at it and she'll know and go screamin in there and let him know it is HER house!!!
I have even tried to let her sleep in our room and hid the kennel and she will whine for it if it is not there, she wont let you get the blankie out to wash it, so I have to lock her out of the house to clean her blankie!!

Too FUNNY! Not so funny if its my tree. Hope you "scared" him enough so he won't try it again. I'm sure he's confused by the whole thing... a tree just for me. Add a crazy lady chasing him... a Christmas to remember for all!

My cat loves the Christmas tree! Sits on top of the presents under the tree & dents them in the middle. Seems she knows exactly which ones I'd prefer she stay away from... those are her favorites! Plus, no ribbons or bows because she loves to play with & chew them. Pets make Christmas much more interesting!
