Default Just bought my first Christmas gifts for 2009!

I went to Walmart and for $12, I bought the following for my 5 year old neice:

    1 backpack (pastel color w/ hearts) = $5.00
    1 24pack crayons = $.25
    1 12pack washable markers = $.75
    2 2packs glue sticks = $1.00
1 age appropriate pair of scissors = $1.50
    1 pack of construction paper = $2.50
    1 pencil box = $1.00
Have to love the back to school sale prices!!!!!!!

I will put it all together and give her an "art" backpack! The best thing is, except for the backpack, it's all useable, so no clutter!

I also was at Border's an in their bargain section I found 4 cardboard books in the shape of trucks and fire engines that had wheels! They were perfect for my 2 year old nephew. They were $3 a piece so I got him 4. Have to keep it even between the n/n's! So they are done for Christmas and they will love what they are getting!!!

Yeah, I gotta go shopping for DD for school tomorrow (friday). The thing she is looking forward to the most? Her first day of school dress. Which after the first day she only wears to church lol. She's funny like that.

    Well done.

I have usually started by now, but now that the kids are older, it's hard to do that.
