Your Christmas list...........
Ok I am full of posts today.........forgive me, I'm bored!
I know alot of us probably don't make Christmas lists but if you did, what would be on yours?
What are your kids asking for this year?
My list would include........
3 or 4 new nonstick cookie sheets
a bottle of my favorite perfume(I'm out!) Celine Dion
some Rachel Ray cookware- She has the nicest stuff and I love the built in handles on her bowls, etc.
Dd(17) wants a new digital camera
Ds(13) wants a bike, a new coat, some hunting stuff. I think we are getting him the coat and hunting stuff and I will have my mom get him the bikeS

A "Buttercream" Yankee Candle
Gift certificate for the Gooseberry Patch catalog.
Gift certificate for Amazon. I have alot of books
in my wish list!
My family always requests a list from me.
My daughter and grandkids get cash so they
can get whatever they want and be able to go
to any store. Then they call me and let me
know what *I* got them for Christmas! lolYou have succeeded in life when all you really want is only what you really need.

No kids here.
Are we talking realistic? So my dream kitchen and root cellar is out?
I would love a gift certificate to any of the following:
Raintree Nurseries
Beer's Books
Placerville Hardware
Front Yard Nursery
A pair of warm slippers would be nice, too.
I would also love a Big Berkey water filter, but they aren't available in California right now. No idea why, as the smaller versions are sold here.DH aka Mad Hen

Dh and I would like Santa to bring us a second deep freeze or a garage refrigerator. We understand that he may not get to us until after income tax time. That's okay.

DS wants a fire truck with a fire station. He has it cut out from the JCPenney toy catalog.
DD is too young to specify anything, but DS informed me that she needs a dollhouse. Conveniently enough, Santa has stockpiled away a little number he found on 75% clearance a year ago that fits the bill.

There's a number of books on my list, and some hobby related items.
DH said he wants a shop vac.
FWIW, Rachel Ray cookware is horribly overpriced (so is the Emeril stuff). You can get equal quality without a designer name on it for a fraction of the price.Use it up, Wear it out,
Make it do, Or do without. ~unknown

the boys want xbox games, and a mini fridge for the basement, (much easier than the things the youngest wanted the last few years) 3 years ago he wanted a golden toilet that folded up into a suitcase so he could carry it wherever he wanted, lol.
The baby has no wish list yet luckily but will get a doll, some books, and some play food and dishes for the kitchen shes getting for her birthday in a couple of weeks.
As for me...
I can't really say that I want or need anything. I have more than I could possibly ask for with my husband, kids, and our house so I guess I am good. I would love to get my kitchen floor done but that will be a project for next summer at the earliest. It doesn't NEED it, it's completely fine the way it is but the previous owners carpeted the kitchen
and with 4 kids things tend to get spilled easily making it quite a mess.

actually I am joking about the above.
Wow - there really is not a lot I want - of things I could ask for, it seems that I have it all.

I'd like some new books, the Beatles Rock Band Bundle for the Wii, Wii Fitness Plus, some new LUSH bath products, and some new clothes.
The kids have asked for video games, Legos, sunglasses (DS17 wants a certain kind), and some DVDs. One had about 7-8 things on his list, one had three things, and the youngest marks whatever he likes in catalogs and of course all of the commercials spark his interest.

My kids used to circle the things in the catalogs too. I miss those days!
When I first started doing in home daycare I had two little girls who were 3 and 5. They are extremely spoiled little girls who get EVERYTHING under the sun for Christmas and their birthdays(they even get tons of gifts on their siblings birthdays). Starting in October of that year every single time a commercial came on tv the oldest one would sit and say "Santa I want that for Christmas" over and over and OVER while pointing at the tv! Drove me mad and I finally had to ban them from saying it LOL.
I miss the days when mine were little and I could spend very little but gets lots of cool things for them to have under the tree!S

I'm worse than a kid -- I already got mine! Well, I didn't think of it as my "Christmas present" when I got it, but it has to be. My Kndle book reader. And tons of free and dirt cheap books for it. So come Christms I can curl up with a quilt and cup of cocoa or tea and read and read and read. C'mon Christmas!

I'm imagining a little guy on Santa's lap, describing this in detail . . . then Santa's reaction.
