Default Christmas in stores and on tv

A few days ago I spotted my first very obvious Christmas commercial and I thought so soon . Than I thought well it is November now. The I hear Christmas music on the tv ask, "What are you watching, it was a Christmas special. Then Yesterday we head to the mall They had their wreath up and where hanging decorations. My mom say her neighbor has their Christmas tree up. Son is playing Christmas music But he has to practice for the community Christmas program in 4 weeks.

So the world around me has moved on to Christmas just asI have my Thanksgiving decorations up.

Many radio stations are already on all-holiday formats.

Wow, I thought that didn't happen until after Thanksgiving.

I just checked the Sounds of the Season radio station on tv and it was playing We wish you a Merry Christmas and then Little Drummer Boy

As a retailer (have a small booth in a craft store), I am guilty. I put up Christmas decorations yesterday. I was going to wait, but the store owner told me two weeks ago that people are coming in, asking when the Christmas stuff is going to be out!

I wonder if I hear Christmas music over the Wal-mart intercom while I'm buying Discount Halloween candy today.

Christmas decorations to buy or just to decorate your store?

I decorated my booth yesterday, and I'm taking inventory in (jewelry and some ornaments) today.

The craft stores had stuff out in July and August. Not just fabric and creative supplies, but the lights and ornaments and boxes of greeting cards. Tree lighting ceremonies start in town here this weekend. It's beginning early all over, I think retailers want to make up for last years disastrous sales.
