Our Christmas tree is up is your's?
Our tree is up we put it up yesterday .Christmas is my favorite time of year I love the lights and all the festivities .
Does any one else have their tree up?DH's chemo has ended and his Radiation treatments end Mon May 14 yeah...!!

No. We buy and cut down live trees so not until 2-3 weeks before xmas do we put one up.

I wish I could have a live tree but my allergies won't allow it. We usually wait till Thanksgiving but we won't be here so we did a little early. I bet your tree is pretty and they smell so good.

Stupidly, I am too. I decorate in dish gloves or have DD do it. Clariton is my buddy but a real tree glowing w/ glass ornaments in the dark w/ colored lights. KWIM. We only have it about 2-3 weeks anyway. We go to a private guy whose OOOOLLD. We figure he can use the money. Last year he apologizes because he raised them to $30. I have paid $50. for smaller. I love supporting local people, we need it now.

I'm not even sure where our tree is. We have a small artificial one. I don't think it is a good idea to have a live one with our cats, I'm sure they'd try to climb it.

I love Christmas but I don't put the tree up till the day after black Friday. It's fake so it doesn't matter when it goes up...

No ours is in our storage shed. We no longer have room for one in the house. We always put it up on Thanksgiving Day and take it down on New Years Day.

Contrary housewife, I have 12 cats and about 30 over as many years and only 1 cat has climbed the center. I always loosely tie cloth ornaments on the bottom which they steal and bat about. I also leave room in the back so they can "hide". I find if I leave it up a day w/o decorations they are ok. I do not though have any kittens and really young cats. The last 2 years I have even put up all glass except the very bottom. I don't think I could go w/o a tree. We never go anywhere anyway. All the relatives are w/in 50 miles.

If it was up to me it would go up on the 24th and come down on the 26th, but dh usually insists on having it at least a week.

My youngest daughter and some of grandkids usualy put tree and some decoration at my house after lunch on Thanksgiving i just let them have at it.
