What would people who cook/bake ask for-for Christmas?
My family wants a Christmas list (yey!). I love to bake, and cook.
So far I am asking for:
1. One of the huge measuring cups that you can mix batters in to.
2. A bread maker.
3. A new stand mixer. (I do cake decorating and mine wore out so I would love a new one)
4. Mixing bowls.
I think I have a pretty good list there! Does anyone know roughly how much bread makers are. I am trying to think of cheaper gifts. I know the stand mixer is a lot so I think maybe a few people will go in on it and maybe get it for me...
So what kitchen/cooking gadgets and things do you love??

I been hinting for a Wilton pan that holds 6 mini bread loaves that is equal to 2 regular loaves. My sister in law has one, let me borrow it last year, and I really liked it a lot. Tried to find one local and no luck. So I said if you find one for me, I will buy it. Have not heard anything more about it.
Maybe it will be a Xmas present this year

I would like to get a cooking magazine. One with lots of pictures. Love pictures in a cookbook or cooking magazine.

With cookbooks, they don't have to be new. One can find them used in a lot of places. That way you could get more of them
How about a good cutting board ?

If I was standing a lot in my kitchen I would love a gel pro mat for the floor. But again...not a cheaper gift...roughly $100.
What about special ingredients that you may be running low on? Good vanilla, spices, etc?

I hear yah!! I have been dying to get one of those for YEARS now. Every stand mixer I buy burns out pretty quickly from making so many batches of buttercream and cake mixes and such. I use my mixer everyday!! I want one of those SO bad but the price, ugh.
They do..as well as ACmoore, and Micheals!

Do you know a good brand of stand mixer that is not so expensive that would work for the average baker? (like me that bakes only a few times a month)
BTW, your cake in you avatar is beautiful!

I love the pampered chef measuring cup thing that pushes out sticky things you measure-like peanut butter. I also like the silicon baking cup things for cupcakes.

Oh yeah, Kitchenaid! *lust*
How about silpat baking mats?
I want some silicone bakeware, like cupcake pans and stuff. And new potholders and cotton kitchen towels.
I don't buy cookbooks any more because so many recipes are online now. Cooking magazines are nice to read because of the articles about food.
High end ingredients are always nice. Vanilla, vanilla beans, saffron, maple syrup, candied ginger, ceylon cinnamon, pine nuts, etc.Use it up, Wear it out,
