All my years of raising kids,, I never had the extra 15$ to spend on a teacher. Things must have changed.... IF.. I was a mother today I would give the gift of tea or flavored coffee, a bag of nuts & choc chips, 5$ gift card to McD's, or school supplies.

our PTO usually takes up a collection and then buys all the teachers gifts around the holidays and at the end of the year. it makes my life much easier, i try to send notes in to my sons teacher often to let her know i appreciate her help with my son this year has been a tough one
