regifters......where are you at??
I was thinking about the episode of Seinfeld where everyone keep giving a gift they didn't want to someone else. I laughed so hard!
Anyway, I have regifted in the past but didn't this year. So, any regifters around to confess what they RE-Gifted??Step 1 $207/1500
Step 2 Student loan $160.00 monthly
Schewels paid
Step 3 $252/$15000
Step 4
Step 5 1 child in college graduates 12/12
2 child $50.00
Step 6 $70,761/$93,000
Step 7 Build wealth & give.

I didn't have anything to regift this year but I have in the past. I don't see anything wrong with it if it's something you're not going to use and it will go to waste.

Not a big present year with my family, so we didn't regift. I have purchased things specifically so that others could re-gift them. I used to get my boss a box of Chocolates that he could regift or use as a last minute present. It was my way of giving him the present of time, which as we all know is the most valuable gift of all.

I didn't really have anything to regift this year but I have in the past and I'm sure I'll do it in the future. Limiting the adult gift exchange has really reduced the amount if "not-quite-right-for-me" gifts

I have never done it and not sure if I would! I have never really received a gift that I wanted to regift, so I guess I have been lucky in that way

I've done it before. I really don't see anything wrong with it, especially if it's something I'm not going to use.

My mommy's group is having their second annual 'regift' party. We all look forward to it and it helps us pass on a gift that may not have been right for us, but perfect for someone else.

What a great idea!

I didn't regift anything this year, but I would if I had something that someone else would like that I wouldn't use. (Oh! Second thought, my ds went to a white elephant gift exchange and I gave him this huge Santa ornament to take that I got at a white elephant exchange last year, LOL!) <---- so glad to get rid of it!

I think this sounds like a really cool and fun idea!!
Haven't 'regifted' that much, some, and nothing this year, but what I have done a few times is get something for someone and then somewhere in the conversation (before giving it to them!) 'discover' that they don't like them----so I am stuck with their gift.
I did give a couple items that were used - not re-gifted from me.

I semi-re-gifted some dog cookies that a friend made for my new pup. I had already made a bunch of dog cookies for all my dogs, so I took some of hers and some of mine (and used the really cute Christmas carton she had provided) and gave them to my sister for HER dog.

I regifted last year. I had a bunch of made for TV stuff that my Mom bought for me through the years. You know, those key chain fobs that record for 30 seconds so you can remember where you parked your car. A bunch of Christmas do-dads that everyone gifts you, and coffee stuff people thought my husband could use, over the years we had lots of that stuff. Everything new and in original packaging.
I made up raffle gift baskets for a Cancer dance. I made up one with all those made for TV gadgets, One coffee one that had a coffee cup/odds and ends holder, 2 cup thermos cups and a bag of really good coffee, and one that was all Christmas stuff, stuffed full.
This year I did not receive a single gift that I want to regift. Not one. My Mom bought me an incredible box of handblown old fashioned oranaments, not one single made for TV product!
She did however buy my husband a weather radio. He says to me," Why do women think men are obessed with weather?" (His Mom bought his Dad a 4 foot solar powered thermometer so he could see the temperature outside without going outside) I don't know?, Maybe it has something to do with the fact that when we had cable years ago you watched the weather channel like you were watching a sporting event! No one dared change the channel. Even now he'll sit and watch the local 24 hour weather channel! I think it has something to do with that!!!
But I won't regift that, I like it. I plan on putting it in the living room for the ready when bad weather is headed our way. Besides, if we lose power it will be good to know what's happening in our end of the world. It also broadcasts TV channels in audio so we can hear the local news, evacuations for our area, etc. Great gift if you ask me.~~~

I regift.
I think that MIL regifted me something that was regifted to her.
It's rancid smelling hand lotion.
