Question Do you turn your Christmas tree lights on every night?

Our tree has been up for over a week, and we haven't turned the lights on yet. Not sure why though.

    What do you do?

I turn mine on everyday if we're home. To me,the tree looks better with lights on....much prettier to look at
We do leave them on all night Christmas eve so Santa can see but no other night.

I always turn mine on when I am home! I agree that it makes the tree look much better! Makes the room more festive!

Every night that we are home. I don't during the day but in the evening we always turn them on.

We haven't got a tree up yet.
We might do it once Dh is finished Exams on the 16th. We plan to chop one done from our yard.

This year I wish we had an artificial tree. It could be up and it wouldn't cost us anything.

No tree up yet this year, but hopefully soon. We don't turn them on every single night.

I turn the Christmas tree lights on every morning when I get up and turn them off when I go to bed. I also turn them off when I leave. Oh, and the lights on the piano.

I turn on the outside lights when it starts to get dark and turn them off when I go to bed.

Yes, we do. My kids even turn the tree lights on for a little while in the morning before we all leave for the day.

Every night, but lately I've been needing a little extra cheer so I turn them on during the day too. But they go out when we go to bed for the night.

Hi all! Thought i'd join in, tho I rarely post.

This year, I put all my Christmas lights are on a timer. Both indoors and out. I'm SO happy I did this! I found indoor timers for $4.50 each and I got six for all the lights indoors. The outdoor timer was a bit more expensive ($20 at Lowe's), but just knowing that they come on and off automatically has been really fun.

So, yes, our lights are on every day, from 4:30pm to 10pm.
