    Default A Simple Christmas Craft Idea

    Im sure that at one time or another someone has posted this idea but thought I would share anyway....
    Take a wire clothes hanger and leave the hook part on and bend the rest of the hanger into a circle shape...
    Get pieces of hard candy like butterscotch, pepermint, ect. ones that have the wrapping on both ends.....
    Take christmas colored curling ribbon and cut into pieces......
    Tie one end of the candy to the wire hanger.....
    Keep going until the whole circle is covered up.......
    You have a candy wreath!

    I usually give this to people a few weeks before Christmas so they can hang it on thier door to enjoy and share with friends and family. For example I gave one to my hairdresser and she hung it on her shop door and her customers would pull off a piece of candy when they walked in

    The best thing about this is that its simple enough for elementary age children to do

    I saw that idea in a magazine and keep thinking we will try it and then forgetting. LOL Maybe this year we will acually do it.
