    Default 2010 Christmas Ornament Exchange

Just thought I would give a head's up on what will soon be here!! Last year was a wonderful success - with no duplication of ornament design- amazing!!

Looking forward to this year's exchange - Please respond to this thread if your interested.

The rules for this exchange are:

~you must sign up by Sept. 25th. That way those who are in the exchange will know exactly how many ornaments to send out.
~ornaments can be made or purchased.
~they must be received by me by Nov. 15th no later - no exceptions so that they can be mailed out by the next week. That way everyone gets their ornaments on time for Christmas.

~You will send as many ornaments as sign up, plus one for Sara. i.e. If there are 5 who sign up, you will send 6 ornaments. If there are 15 who sign up, you will send 16 ornaments. (Thought it would be nice to continue this tradition!!)
~[COLOR="Black"]please attach your user name to each ornament in some way so that other members will know who the ornament is from.

Last year some participants generously made donations to help with postage. If possible, it would help if you could include a dollar or two to help defray the cost of shipping - and if you cannot, don't worry - we still want you to participate!!

Who would like to be in this annual ornament exchange?
    Please sign up here.

maui - Id like to be considered as a "maybe". It depends on the number of participants b/c shipping could potentially get out of hand when shipping fragile'ish things across the border in boxes.

    7 and one maybe!!

Libby, last year there were several flat ornaments - some even fit in an envelope. I was thinking (and have since discarded the idea) of suggesting just flat ornaments - but that really milits creativity!!

I have a sample of the ornament that I am making, now I just need to find the directions. One of the materials I am using is used dryer sheets that I have been saving since Christmas - love recycling!! The other materials I already have on hand - I think you are going to love them!!
