Default What Did You Accomplish Today in Preparation for Christmas? Only 59 more days!

Okay everyone, I have a TON of things to do before Cbristmas Day.....so starting today, I am going to record what I actually did that I needed to finish for the holidays.

It could be picking up a gift, working on a homemade craft, addressing Christmas cards, baking.....you get the idea.

Who cares to join me? I am hoping this thread will help me cross things off my long list.

Today - I made homemade magnets for my two nephews to go in their stockings.

P.S. - if this is in the wrong spot and should be in the challenges section could someone please move it for me? I wasn't sure where it should go.

    Since you asked I......

cleared off the DR table to be used as Christmas central
took stock of how many mini potholder sets I need tags for (20)
made two more ornaments for exchange
sewed the ends in on 5 dishtowels

Love this idea Debbie - all these little details will make me think that I am getting sooooo much done!!

It really does make a difference to list what has been accomplished during the day!!

Oh, I am so in, I have to do something every night or else I will be up late sewing on Christmas eve like last year! I am making 3 or 4 wallhangings for gifts. They are going to be embroidered squares, then sashing and borders, that's it, fairly simple. So last night, I got all of the fabric around for one, cut out the squares to be embroidered and I even managed to get one square on the embroidery machine and done. I want to get at least 1 if not 2 done tonight, they take about 45 minutes each to sew out. One can always hope!

    Great thread Deb, thanks!

So far this week I have:

Printed out my Christmas Planner from organized christmas and started organizing it into a binder (Yesterday)

Addressed envelopes for Christmas cards & asked mom to send me pictures for her Photo Block project(she doesn't know what they are for yet, I just asked her to scan & email me a bunch of different pictures she has at home) (Tuesday)

Edited the photos for one of my Photo Block projects (Monday)

Took inventory of our gift box in the closet and created a master gift list (Sunday)

I love the idea of this thread!

    Working on:
    Get under 200 lbs. 44/47lbs
    Getting Back on Track!

    So far today......

    - dug the stockings out of storage so I know how much more I need to fill them when I start wrapping.

    - dug out all the stocking stuffers from the gift closet to divide for each person and know what I still need

    - set up my sewing machine. Installed new needle, blew out all dust and filled the bobber so it is now ready to go.

    - picked out yarn for my nephews slippers and will start them today
