I am sure ya'll know this but all the Halloween candy is 50% off most places and I went and got some that did not have "halloween theme" to them. I am going to fill stockings with those

I bought some yesterday - one bag of individually wrapped arare crackers for us to snack one and one big back of hersheys chocolates that I'm using to make up individual S'mores in the Microwave bags!!

I this every year as well. Great savings that way. I also buy the little chocolate bars and open the package and fill the baskets I make up for neighbors among the other goodies in them.

As long as you are keeping, and freezing, the peanut butter cups for yourself, this is a good idea. Reese's Peanut Butter Cups have a one-owner-only policy. I keep checking each year, but I still haven't found a notice placed within a cup yet.

Just bought a $13 bag of 250 mini snickers, twix, milky way, three musketeers. The bag was 75% off so I paid $3.25. It was the last one in the store so I was happy to get it especially at that price.
Hubby said hide them as soon as he saw them in the grocery bag I brought home.

I use these mini's in Christmas cookies we call Surprise Cookies. Sugar cookie dough with one of the minis wrapped up in the middle of the ball. Then bake. Sugar cookies with a surprise in the middle.

Will also use them in the advent calendar, since they do not have a fall theme on the wrapper.
