How do you feel about wrapping gifts
Do You enjoy it?
I hate it.
It's such a boring detailed chore.

I love wrapping presents!!
Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

I absolutely love to wrap gifts. I take great pride in the way my gifts look. I am very detailed about my ribbons, edges being perfectly aligned, tape not showing, no wrinkles, etc...I spend around ten minutes wrapping each gift on average and have unwrapped and re-wrapped gifts several times when I was not happy with the way it looked.
Plus, all of my paper has to match so that under my tree has a uniform look. Every year I start looking for the perfect paper in August. A few years ago I did a bright green and red theme, last year it was black and white, another year it was an earthy brown, and this year it is silver and royal blue. Gifts that others send over go in my closet until Christmas morning since they do not match mine. (Everyone knows I do this and no one is offended. They all make jokes about it.) Then on Christmas morning the non-matching gifts get placed across the room so they are not in the pictures.
I don't like paper that has characters, trees, or other decorations on it. I either go solid colors, a thick stripe or polka dots with matching ribbons, not stick on bows. I have to do personalized gift tags, too. I'll make an ornament from a picture of the person the gift is for, scrapbook alphabet stickers to spell out the person's name, or something else cute or creative.
I get near giddy wrapping gifts.DD (19)

Neeley, I'm impressed.
If there was a prize, I would give it to you.
I bet that does look pretty with the themes though. You need to share some pics!!

It's just one more chore to me, and I already have enough of those.

Most of our's are wrapped in fabric gift bags, I've made over the years. I wait until after Christmas and buy fabric at $1 or less/yd. Then I make various sized gift bags with velcro or drawstring closures.
I made fabric photo gift tags too. . . with pictures of us in the "To" and "From" sections, so the little ones can hand out the gifts too.

Even I wrap stocking stuffers. Growing up, that was the thing I looked forward to the most was all those cute little gifts to unwrap.
I don't wrap the candy though.

I love it. Love the pretty bright shiny papers and ribbons. I don't have a mountain of stuff to wrap each year though, so it never becomes a chore.
