    Question Do you open any gifts on Christmas Eve?

    Growing up, we were allowed to open one gift (from extended family) before we went to bed. I do this now with my kids, and it's a bedtime related gft like new pj's, a new character toothbrush, etc.

    We open all gifts on Christmas Eve. It wasn't until I got older that I realized that everyone did not .

    We open all the gifts on Christmas Eve and then Santa leaves gifts Christmas Eve night for the boys to find in the morning and open!

    we don't now. but as a kid, my sis and i were allowed to open our stocking after we went to christmas eve service.

    We open all the gifts here on Christmas Eve. The girls all open their gifts from Santa at home on Christmas morning.

    I don't have a very big extended family so I open all my gifts Christmas Eve (it's as good an excuse as any LOL) but the kids open theirs on Christmas Day when I can enjoy them and help them set up their toys and play!

    Just thought though this year I may 'try' and wait (i'm a big kid too lol) but I am single now and I won't have anyone to open my presents with and enjoy them so I may try and wait and do it with the kids.

    Another thought!: It's unlikely my mum made me up an advent calendar this year for the first time ever and i've opened all of it already!
