That is a VERY fun gift! Dad got the basic one for himself and DF bought himself one too but a higher model. Its programmable so its set to go off every day of the week at the same time. Roomba's suction is pretty good!Thank you guys! I was second guessing myself, wondering if Roombas actually do a good job. Also wasn't sure if it was tacky or not. Now I just hope my cat doesn't go nuts with it!

Mrs K - just make sure it has the features you want. You do get what you pay for - super dirt cheap price, you need to turn it on and off. Pay a bit more and its programmable and docks itself when it gets low on battery. Sometimes we just sit with a cup of coffee, talk and watch it go LOL

DH just asked me for one of those little (credit card size and just as thin) magnifiers for reading, to stick in his Bible. I don't think they are that expensive? He saw them at CVS. So I guess I'll be adding one of those.
