We have a hail and farewell coming up for our engineer. I'm going to show him this. I think it would make a great going away present. Thanks!

survival isn't survival without bacon. LOL (paraphrase of what hubby says about camping.///camping isn't camping without bacon)

Trout lure. that's what hubby is getting from the kids. Hubby's brother took our fishing gear fishing this summer and lost an entire tackle box. Hubby has been downright bummed ever since about it. So we are making an attempt to get him new tackle. BIL will have to get him a new tackle box.

I made my brother 3 huge meatloaves a few years ago. Each was at least 3 pounds. I presented them to him whole as they had just come out of the oven and once they were cool, I sliced and foil wrapped them for his freezer.

He was..... a bit taken back by it. I don't know if he really enjoyed them or not... but oh well. lol

I'm only giving regular stuff. The site that McD posted had some health and mana potions though. I might try a home made version of that for the husband. I bet the kids would enjoy making them for him.

The strangest thing I guess...would be several bottles of Witch Hazel for DD. For a little over a buck it's a wonderful skin toner.
