Wrapping Paper
I used to use cloth bags for Christmas gifts....but I had to switch to wrapping paper b/c some Houseapes became "snoopy" around Christmastime.lol. This year, I've ran low on recycled wrapping paper & I just don't feel like braving the crowds to go to the Dollar Tree to buy any, so........I have used white packing paper, brown paper bags.....even piecing together odds & ends of mismatched wrapping paper to make a bigger sheet to wrap with (I'm pathetic.lol)....but I'm having alot of fun doing this.....even my older kids who had went out & bought presents are doing the same thing & are not turned off by it

Does anyone really care about the paper anyway.

Kids will remember about what is inside.

A friend of mine used to start saving the funnies from the Sunday papers months ahead of Xmas and that was her wrapping paper..........it was colorful and cute.
You would have to see it, but when all the gifts are wrapped in this colorful paper under the tree it looks cute.

If that's pathetic, I must be really bad. Last year I used plain brown paper that came in a box from Amazon, but I added things cut from magazines. This year for wrapping paper I used an old atlas that was about to be tossed out for being out of date.
I don't feel comfortable paying money for something that is going to be thrown out. At least by using something other than actual wrapping paper, people will pay a little bit of attention before tearing it off.

I have wrapping paper that I bought several years back for pennies on the dollar. I won't have to buy any for YEARS!

Sounds like a great idea! Look at Hallmarks website. You might be able to print a coupon for $10 off a $10 purchase. But I would think what you are doing would be lots of fun and pretty all piled together.
