The "have to have" toys this year are the ones my DD2 will get! She has no say in what toys she wants quite yet. LOL

In other words, I have absolutely no idea!

Isn't the drinking game kinda the same thing but you fill the cup with beer and then drink it if you make it. I mean do you put liquid in the cup with this game? My grandson wants one.

No Nana, no liquid in the cup.

I didn't even know about this game, but I'm positive my boys do. Looks like a game kids would like.

Just asked my 21 year old, he said he never heard of it. I played the demo for him and he said, "isn't that just beer pong with cards?" I'm surprised he's never heard of it. Now I need to ask my 16 year old.

A few months ago my ds(11) asked for a package of pingpong balls. I couldn't figure out why and then he told me he had saw a game advertised and knew he could replicate much cheaper with solo cup and pingpong balls. I think I spent $2 for a package of pingpong balls and now you tell me the cup needs to light up and make sound. I don't think he cared. LOL

Sounds like this cuponk game is really popular. I betting my youngest is going to have this on his birthday list after all his friends get one of these for Christmas.

To answer the OP for my boys (9, 11, & 12) Super Scribblenauts (DS game) is the big thing. It's all they talk about. Thank goodness I didn't have any problem finding a third one yesterday (for my 11yo nephew).

I think the Lego Harry Potter sets are big. Lego had a production shortage and weren't able to get out as many of the castles or trains. Thankfully we got ds's castle waaaay before the shortage.

My kids were talking about scribblenauts for awhile and I had no idea what they were talking about till I saw a commercial for it the other day, then I was all "OHMIGOSH THAT'S SO COOL!"

My kids have each had a DS before and they've all been broken or left behind somewhere so we're done with those till their older. They both want one though and I've had to resist the urge to give in.

They have the first Scribblenauts and have a blast (plus it helps 9yo ds with his reading/spelling). I'm excited for the second one because they can use adjectives as well as nouns so it will help with grammar too They don't even realize they're learning
