As frugal as I try to be, I don't want to trade, I would give you hard cash to take my in laws.

Many of you know how my in laws are from previous posts so I won't bore you once again with details.

My dh and especially dd (just back from a prolonged stay in London and was extremely homesick - longing for family) were the ones who actually pushed the whole 'let's get the family together for Christmas' thing. Dh thought that without psycho, it should be ok.

WRONG!

They were all true to form. The only thing that was missing and I have to say THANK GOODNESS - was psycho wife and her psycho offspring. Yes we finally had a family get together without the spawn of psycho and bil.
Mind you it would have kept me occupied by me running after him preventing him causing damage to the house because heaven help that his parents would forbid him to do anything.
So now I was around to hear the snide comments and see the amount of alcohol that was consumed by the designated driver (brother in law), sister in law (I have to be careful now with alcohol because of my meds - yeah right) and mother in law (no I don't want a small glass of Tia Maria with my coffee - just open another bottle of wine for me).
BTW, no and restraint, are not words they know

Just another family together with the in laws.

Thank goodness Christmas is over and I don't have to dread New Year's Eve, because the entire family is invited to niece and dh (everyone except us of course because for one reason or another when we say entire family we get them all even when we only mean our kids and their partners, when they say entire family they mean everyone except us and our kids.
