I didn't buy it for Christmas but earlier in the year. I got a car that is comfortable for me to drive. I'm short, have arthritis, fibro and just generally have trouble with my joints and the car we had was just so uncomfortable for me to drive. I felt like I was laying down and had to stretch to reach the pedals. I bought a 2006 Mercury Montego with adjustable pedals and its so easy to get in and out of. I just slide right in and out. All I have to do is hit a button to set the seat and the pedals just right for me to be comfortable and drive. The seats are heated too which has been wonderful during these cold winter days. Paid cash so no debt to worry about either. I gave my other car to my son and we sold his old one. He's in college and needed a better car to drive back and forth to school. Worked out for both of us.

I bought myself so much this year - after a large raise - that for Xmas the only thing I got myself was some new, updated and very beautiful decor.

I got two books I have been wanting: Breathless by Dean Koontz and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by ummmm....some brilliant Swedish dude.

The DK book was a bit of a let-down - the end was disappointing and silly, but the other book, all I can say is WOW. When can I justify getting myself the next two? Amazing book!

I bought myself a BigShot machine for card making and scrapbooking. It texturizes paper and makes die cuts. And because Son knew how much I was enjoying it, he bought me accessories for it as a Christmas gift.

The really big thing, tho, that Hubby and I got for ourselves was new flooring and a remodeled bathroom. It was all finished at 8:30 Dec. 24. Talk about a last minute gift!!!

I've been using mine daily for the last 2 weeks. I got the set at Walmart.com for $25 with free shipping! Not a bad deal really Amazon has them priced per piece at around $6 or $7 but Walmart was the only place I could find the entire set.
