Smile a few more days of Christmas preps

I've got 4 days to work steadily on my Christmas gifts again.

    My To-Do List:

    - crochet 1 or 2 dish scrubbies
    - work on doormat #2
    - work on 2 pairs of slippers for grandkids
    - make 2 or 3 bath scrubbies
    - bake shortbread cookies, various shapes
    - bake raisin loaf
    - bake pumpkin loaf
    - bake brownies
    - make fudge

    Finished:
    - 1 bath puff (soft, rich and gift-worthy)
    - 1 dish scrubbie (matches the Christmas dishcloth)

Trial & Error day working with 3 new patterns; but tomorrow should be better. Rolled the yarn balls today. Started the slippers, but make a mistake, so ripped it back, will resume tomorrow.

Finished crochetting one more bath puff this morning; took me 2 hrs.
Double-reinforced the center ring with Phentex first. Used a baby-soft slub-weave polyester sports yarn; result, soft puff with added texture. This one was easier than the other, so I'm getting used to the pattern now, no mistakes this time.
Taking a break from crochet for a few hrs. to work on rag rug #2, and to do some house-chores.

Today was an exhausting day again, but got the errands done.
Will have to take a break from FV for awhile, because I'm now dealing with another medical relapse and a great deal of pain, and have to cope with that.
All the best to everyone as you work on your Christmas projects.
    Bye for now.

Thanks Debbie; I got a few hours of sleep last night, and it helped.
Today is my birthday, and I'm spending it alone at home, working on my gift projects a bit. It's snowing and I like watching it through the window while I have a few cuppas in my rocking chair.
Got another bath puff done yesterday, that makes 3 of them.
Have to learn to pace myself better; so anxious to get it all done in time, I've overstrained myself.
    Bye for now.
