Its beginning to look like
A brown Christmas. We have no snow and were breaking all kinds of weather records here. Today it was +5C, which is around 38 degrees F and we just don't get that type of weather in December.
I can't ever remember having a brown/green Christmas.
It is really hurting some businesses like skiing resorts, ski-doo companies and the likes and will definitely hurt the farmers if we don't get some snow soon.
Whats your weather like there?

We've had snow on the ground for a week now. It will probably melt before Christmas, though.

We have been having ice, sleet, freezing rain and snow mix since about 12:30 Wednesday. As I sit here I can now hear the wind kicking up too. Don't think I'm going out in this in the morning.

We are having one of our dryest years. We did start to get some rain today thank goodness. I think only 1 ski resort is open, and thats the one that helps make its own snow!! Usually all are almost always open by thanksgiving. I hope our Mts get a lot of snow this year or we are going to be in trouble for water.

NO snow here either we had about 1/8 of an inch but it melted. Our Drought continues!!!!!!! we really need some kind of moisture. I remember in maine a couple of christmases without snow. but we were buried by Feb.
I just don't know how the farmers are going to survive if we don't get something soon, this is going into year 4 with way below moisture!!!!!!!!!!! So as much as i complain we really need something i would rather see two weeks of straight rain than any snow but at this point we will take what we can get. as soon as god looks down and smiles on us. Temp tomorrow they are claiming is going to be 50 which is totally unheard of here in Dec.
The funny thing is the other side of the divide is getting a ton of nasty weather.

That's cuz you're sending it our way Heaven! We have had more snow etc. this year already than we had all of last season.
But, we really need it too. Our well almost went dry this summer and I am still very careful using it.~~ Dee ~~
