Question If you hang Christmas stockings, what do you fill them with

We usually put an orange, a few candies along with a candy cane and a small item that fits in the stockings.

    You?

toiletries, makeup, writing/art supplies, candy, magazines, something fun and interesting, jewellery, favourite foods

I try very, very hard to not put any junk in the stockings. When my oldest was really little the stocking was filled with cheap toys that always ended up broken at the bottom of the toy box. Now I make a point of only buying things that will be used and enjoyed. I usually put more thought into the stockings than I do into any of the big gifts. My daughter never liked candy, so that kind of forced me to get more creative.

We put in clementines, granola bars and fruit snacks. I buy enough fruit snacks and granola bars to fill the stocking, and I put 4-5 clementines on top.

It's different for each family member. Generally what is in a stocking cost less than $5 and is the size of a deck of cards or smaller (ie. something that will get lost under the tree).
Everyone gets candy. Dh gets new boxers (it's an inside joke lol).

He doesn't do my stocking though No matter how much I ask.
