    I use to I don't now. what solved it for me was the year i wrapped all of my gift and got nothing that was a surprise now i don't look, i love the surprise part of it.

    I used to be horrible about peaking. When I was a kid I used to unwrap and rewrap the gifts. The first year my dh and I were married I unwrapped a movie he gave me while he was at work and watched it. I no longer peak, I like the surprise.

    I don't peek,but I pick up,shake,and ask lots and lots of questions.Like where did you buy it,is it in the original box etc LOL!!! I'm worse than a kid!

    I am a reformed peeker. When I was little, I had it down to a science. I would get the sharpest knife in the drawer, slit the tape open, check out the gift and retape with a piece of tape the exact same size, placed right over the slit piece. My parents never caught on. (I was an only child of two parents who were both ALWAYS at work. I was alone a lot with a lot of time to be devious.) However, I like the suprise now. I know exactly where dh has hidden my gifts for the past few days and haven't even been tempted.

    I don't have to be. My mom and dh have already told me what I am getting. A $50.00 GC to Joann's and a big box of fat quarters. They have a few other things they haven't told. My kids are different they can keep a secret like you wouldn't believe!
