Stocking stuffer ideas for guys
Hi there - I want to surprise my bf with a stocking for Xmas, trying to figure out what to put in there, but keep it frugal. He's not really into sweets. He does like cashews. Anyone?
Goals:
Lose 25 lbs (exercise at least 3 times/wk/eat healthy)
Spend less
Save more $ in ES
Frugal challenge
Do three things daily
One new recipe a week
Prep for zombie apocalypse

best cashews ever! Sahale Snacks : Snack Better : Gourmet Nut Blends and Glazed Nuts
What are his other interests? Is he into computers, home repair, cars, fishing?
DH likes to get gum, to chew after lunch at work.
shirt.Woot.com offers a different $10 t-shirt every day. They are lightweight, but nicely made shirts and they have enough different offerings you should find something he'll like within a week or three.Use it up, Wear it out,

there's always jerky, if there's a "snackpack" thing (like you'd pack in kids lunches) he likes, that'd work too. Mini-packs or singles of nuts, cocoa/coffee/tea, candies/mints (if he likes any of those).
Otherwise, what about some gag gifts? There's always some silly toy, keychain or mini-game in the dollar bins during the holiday season. Little tchatchkes like that are always fun.
Silly stuff like socks or a funny pair of underwear/boxers.
CD/DVD. deck of cards. personal hygiene/care products.
just remember, if you put something practical in there (ie, socks or a toothbrush) at least have something fun in there too!

Are you two planning a trip within the few months after Christmas? What about theme related gifts - ie maps, postcards, things made in "x" (wherever you're going) etc.
Food and toiletries always go over well - they're useable items. What about a mini flashlight? I like the idea of 'favour coupons' or gift cards for fast food/coffee shops. My most fave - gift card for gas.2012: The Year Of The Purge!

I second the mini flashlight. Especially one of those fancy LED ones. Those things are really handy. The kids all have one, we have one in each of the vehicles, I have two that I keep in my "activity" bag, and I have a few that live at my desk.

great ideas!!
Last year I found a memory stick for a ridiculously low price and put it in my BIL's stocking - he's thrilled since he (truthfully) needed one and was too frugal (nice for cheap) to buy one. Also put a miniature stapler wirh refills in his one year - same reason as above and same reaction. Go figure - you will have so much fun creating his stocking - and don't forget to tell us what you put in it!!Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

OK - Here's what I got for him:
At Walgreens they have a whole display of Bears stuff - so I got him pens, scented car hanger (Lord knows that that smells like - sweaty football player?), bottle opener ($7)
At Wags, I also got him a large Nestle crunch bar, 3-pack of turtles, small bag of pumpkin seeds and a .99 ornament that looks like a C7 light (he mentioned he liked this - as do I)
At Target, they had these plastic jars of multi-colored popcorn kernels for $3 and they had flavored toppings in shakers - buffalo wing, nacho cheese, sea salt & vinegar for $2-$3 each
At Trader Joe's I got him some bison jerky, turkey jerky and pistachios.
So, I'd say his stocking runneth over! (Tip: I also got popcorn and flavored toppings for small gifts for his kids, who are at college; Wanted them to have something to take back to school and I don't know them that well).Goals:
