What do you want for yourself? Not world peace, not something for your kids or family, just you.

Oh, hell, I was going to say world peace!

If I could have anything, it would be six months of maid service, a carpenter, and a thousand gallons of gas to be used for travel.

For realsies, I don't really want much of anything. I'm very fortunate in that I have everything I need and a lot of the stuff I want. But blow money in any amount is always welcome.

What I really, really want is my dishwasher fixed. That would be the best present ever! I honestly can't think of anything I could want more.

If I could wish for anything, it would be for a very spendy person (in my size, of course) to donate a lot of good quality, barely used maybe even with tags still on, brand name clothes and shoes to our St. Vinnies in the next coupla weeks so I could spend a little and get lot

And then for real, I'd love a gift card to the thrift store, some colorful fashion scarves, a gift certificate to get a relaxing massage, and I think I'd really like a Kindle with Amazon gift cards to get some e-books and magazines.

For the last 6 years I DO NOT WANT PRESENTS all I want is for family to to show up or call, to me Christmas is not about presents.

My present is for my family to show up, with no presents just themselves. To me Christmas is about the Lord and family..

My Christmas present is is coming true my sister and her daughter, my fil, sil, niece and nephew, a neighbor and his girlfriend. my nephew Taz and his girlfriend , and my niece and her black boy friend are all welcome, they are coming for thanksgiving and for Christmas. Yeah yeah

I hope that I did not affend anyone, that is not my intention, my neighbor is also black and he comes to our house and eats, plus helps me out if I need a ride to work,

DH has already started asking me what I wanted for Christmas and so far - NOTHING. We are already going on our first real vacation together this year (with my dad) and a weekend getaway later as well.

There's an email circulating between us siblings trying to figure out the gift exchange options - gift card swap game, something homemade with our own two hands or something regifted. The email keeps ping pong'ing around and then my bro chimes in with a 'I think my wife already started shopping for you guys...' Yeah, and they're the ones who really can't afford to be buying anything. What I want for Christmas from them is for them to use the money they'd be spending on our gift - to apply it to their debt instead. But how do you say that politely?

What I really want is actually a need. I know for now, the need is going to continue to be unfulfilled so I don't bother asking for it.

I want the kids to make me something. I love it when they make something ceramic at school!
My bf and I are not exchanging gifts due to our empty wallets. As long as the kids have a good Christmas I will be happy!

I want stuff. I know it is childish but everyone deserve their hearts desires for Christmas. I want a pandora bracelet. Not full one one just started so my family and I can finish it together. But I won't get it hubby is a horrible present giver. My daughter is a fantastic present giver. I usually go out and buy what I want....

I was sitting here trying to think of one thing I'd like to have for Christmas and I can't think of one. I guess it's because my husband and I won't be buying again for each other (2nd year now) so I guess I just put it out of my mind. I wouldn't mind having a new pair of house shoes though....mine are falling apart.
