I usually wrapped it all at once when I was still wrapping presents. Like others, it was easier to just to make a place to do it, get it all out once, plow through the lot, and then put all the wrapping stuff away. Doing it in dribbles would have felt like too much duplication of effort at a time of year when I was always very busy. I guess that's not very Christmas-y and sentimental is it?

I wrap all at once. I don't enjoy it whatsoever so I'm gonna need some beer with it.

I give $ so it doesn't take much to wrap that but when I did buy gifts I used gift bags....love those gift bags....tape them shut, slap a name tag on and you are done and you can sit and enjoy that glass of wine...

I buy throughout the year and then start wrapping in late October/early November and wrap a bit at a time. Right now I have almost all of my step-daughter's presents and all of the family kids presents wrapped. Still need to do shopping for fiancee, and finish up shopping for my mom, dad, and brother, but I won't be seeing them until around new years, so I have a bit longer on those.

I wrap in spurts, and usually do about 10 or so packages at a time - I come from a present giving family, and am one of those people that truly love getting lots of presents for others and seeing them unwrap them. Luckily I'm a good bargain hunter as well. I'm doing pretty good this year - I've been very sick with a severe asthma flare and croup for about two and half months, and I've still managed to wrap and store 50-60 packages. I have two closets - a present closet and a wrapped present closet. Even though we have a ton of presents for the step-daughter (I really didn't try to have this much, but I kept finding things that were perfect - and don't worry, nothing has been put on a cc, and a lot of the presents are needs - clothes and shoes and the like) we've just been putting out a few a day since we put the tree out - she likes checking in the morning and seeing if there is another present for her that she can try to guess.

Thats usually my mentality too. I try to get all shopping done by early Dec so I can wrap in one huge session and then meet up with friends on separate occasions and just dish out the gifts vs having to wrap before heading out each time.

This year the kids & inlaws have agreed to do a gift card exchange, we only have to buy one $25 gift card for the game - thats already done!

I usually wrap all at once. Sometimes I do two wrapping sessions. But I never wrap as I go, I don't have the patience for that.

I don't really fit any of the given catagories! I hate wrapping presents (and I have to admit I would like it if I was good at it!)! I will wrap a few presents one day and maybe a week later I will wrap a few more! This past Friday I had the 'gumption' to wrap all the relatives presents so I would be done with those ones, I wrapped 2 noticed one I wrapped earlier last week had a tear, just when I was about to rewrap it, DH called me to give him assistance on the kitchen drawers that needed to be fixed.

Next time when I go to wrap presents, I need a 5 hour energy (redbull or some type of energy drink), spend 30 minutes cleaning my room since I really don't have a spot to put the wrapped presents in a good location, pull out the presents, reorganize and wrap them. To me, when I go through my process of wrapping presents, it kind of makes me think of Hoarders and they feel better if they touch it, that is exactly how I am with Christmas gifts! I despise wrapping presents, would love to just bag them all but I have "noisy kids" that would peek in bags and tell others what they are getting for Christmas.

I used to wrap carefully and beautifully, and make my own (fancy!) bows and all that. Now I do bags and tissue.

I usually do my wrapping a couple of weeks before Christmas, but it's funny you should ask this today, cause this year, I've been 'bagging' as I go. It looks extra nice to see bagged presents under the tree.

for my immediate family : " santa " gifts do not get wrapped - other gifts get put into a large felt santa bag - and tied shut .each family member has their own bag.
( and i use electrcal ties under the ribbon to keep sneaky ones from peeking - cut those ties christmas eve )

for family outside immediate gifts - i use gift bags - many times recycled from the year before or bought at at least 50% off .

my kids will wrap gifts for dh and I and each other or use gift bags.

i just wrapped gifts for a family we are helping out that a friend knows .

i think i have wrapping paper in my attic i got at target 90% off 5 years ago.

less mess- less stress for me lol
