Default My oldest son bought me this....................

A 921 All American Pressure Canner I feel very blessed that he would buy this for me for Christmas as I don't get any present's from anyone except my dmil..Now I want to say this is NOT a feel sorry for myself post because I buy what I want all year long so I really don't need or want for anything..As some of you know I'm getting unemployment and decided to use this money strictly on what we need for our home and next month will be my last month to collect (I might be eligible for a extention but not counting on it) and I mentioned to ds that there is 2 item's left that I would like to get before my unemployment run's out that we will benefit from for years to come one being this particular brand canner and a Mantis rototiller...I'm very excited!

Boy, I wish I was better at expressing myself with writing without coming off like I'm bragging or the not getting Christmas gift's! After re-reading my post I should have said I'm excited that my son just bought me a Pressure Canner (without mentioning the name) and that I hope to put up alot of food next year from our garden..
I don't get present's for the simple reason is if I really really want something I will ponder the idea for day's, weeks or even month's(save the money) before I buy whatever it is..I really don't want anyone to buy me presents..I'm a very FUSSY person and I don't like to lie and tell my family member that I like their gift when I really don't..I like what I like and I would rather buy it myself than feel like a piece of poo for telling a lie..kwim? My dh & I haven't exchanged gift's in years and that's a mutual thing between us.. My mil does give me a gift card or money but I alway's give it or spend on my 2 boy's Birthday's which is Dec 29 & Jan 3....
I'm very proud of my son for buying me this present and I hope to expand my knowledge of learning to preserving more of our own food..Thanks for letting me share this with all of you..Hugs,Brenda

How wonderful and thoughtful - it's really meaningful because he recognizes a big part of who you are - you're loving of canning and cooking. Excellent! Whoohooo!

I have the same brand, it's a fantastic unit. No gasket was the big selling point.
