Default Who will be hosting a Christmas gathering

for extended family? And how many will you be having? Will you cook most of the meal or will everyone be bringing in side dishes?
We are having about 25 or so for Christmas and most everyone has to travel quite a distance to get here. I'll be cooking most of the meal (turkey, dressing and all the trimmings type meal), except my dmom will be making the dressing. It's a huge ordeal but it's always nice for us to be together for Christmas. I really should get off this computer and get to WORK!!!
    Merry Christmas everyone!

we aren't. we're not visiting anyone and noone is visiting us. but when i was a kid we used to go to my grandparents house and everybody was there for dinner. all the older women helped out with the cooking so no one person was stuck doing it all. one aunt would bring the salad fixings, one would bring side dish stuff, i'm not sure what my mom used to bring. they all worked well together in teh kitchen and i'm sure that helped a lot.

We will be hosting a Christmas breakfast at our house. We should have about 10 or 15 people over here.

We just had our tree trimming party last night. We had nice appetizers & beverages as we decorated the tree. Then a nice candlelit sit down dinner for 8.
Christmas will just be the 4 of us and probably dd's boyfriend. Very relaxing.

We will be having anywhere from 15 to 20 people over here on Christmas afternoon. We will not eat until around 4:00 in the afternoon. Everyone will be bringing their specialty items to go with the main entree on ham.

I have to really get down to cleaning my house again tomorrow.

    Merry Christmas everyone!
