Most unusual/creative Christmas gift?
What's the most unusual/creative Christmas gift you've ever received? What really tickled your funny bone or was just right for you? What really rocked?
I think for me it was a really simple gift. When we were young Dad wouldn't let we girls have Barbies because he felt they set up unrealistic expectations in girls. So my aunt, that sly lady, bought a 'Fashion Doll' knock off of Barbie and sewed me a whole wardrobe for her! I was so blown away. Totally unexpected gift. To this day I don't know if she knew how Dad felt about Barbie before buying the doll for me. But I got hours of play out of that doll.

The year I was pregnant with my oldest, I was having a tough day. I remember laying on the bed at my dad's house, sobbing my eyes out in despair, miserable with a situation I was involved in. Just as I was drifting off to sleep - I felt her kick for the first time. Best. Christmas. Ever.

Last year I gave my wife custom stuffed animals of her and me. This year, I'm giving my sister and her husband matching pajamas, but I'm making anagrams of their names, and then having them embroidered on the shirts.
Our Christmas is on New Year's.
