My favorite that made me cry was my 4yr old sons clay handprint that he painted and made at school. Just seeing that little hand and knowing that him and his sister are the greatest presents Ive ever recieved and thier love is a gift everyday. So great

DH bought me a Canon Rebel 3Ti camera as a joint anniversary/Christmas/WAY early Valentine's Day gift! I'm SOOOOO excited!

Other than that, my fave presents were my new Shel Silverstein poetry book (fell in love with his humorous poems as a kid!), and a couple of pieces of new bakeware--a Pyrex bread "pan" and an 8X8 baking dish!

My DH arrived home safe after driving back from Philadelphia, he had a week in thermography classes. He gave me a coat, boots and clogs, a new wallet, too - But the best gift - he arrived home safe.

i usually give the kids God parents a small gift not expected but i like to - usually somethimg i got very frugally etc
this year the men got little clip on lights that clip on your baseball style cap .

i gave the godmothers a large vera wang change purse that kohls sold it had either sequins or was ribbon loops on outer front area it has the two ball clasp on it .
they were orig 10$ i think i got them for under 2$ each to get the $ amt high enough for free shipping ( otherwise shipping was more than these were )

well 2 of my sil were so excited to see them - lol they loved them and said they needed them so badly - one said her fiancee gave her a new purse and she was just copping change out of old ones bottom thinking how she needed a big changepurse LOL i never expected that type or response it was funny !!

The Chinese restaurant where I ate for years, closed down
3 or 4 years ago and I have not had Chinese food since.

I have been missing the food SO MUCH!!!!!

I opened a gift from my daughter yesterday, and it was a
COOKBOOK of the restaurant that included my FAVORITE
dishes!!!! To say that I was excited is a huge under-
    statement.

I can't wait to make my much missed and beloved dishes!!!

My DH actually suprised me with volumes 7-9 of The Walking Dead. I let out a big 'ayeeeeeeeeeeeee!' this morning as he placed each one next to the other.

But as for the gifts that I received yesterday, I think my favorite has to be my new jacket that I got. It's black and thick and furry at the top around my neck.

The video games from Santa to the children and the games from my mom to Buddy were a big hit

    Great family time fun

Hubby and Buddy researched and chose good games.

Little Miss has been enjoying them and she is developing the skills she needed to learn when I deemed she needed video game therapy

The children also loved the clothing they received.

My wonderful husband somehow managed to get me 4 beads for my bracelet. I was so in shock that I burst out crying. He also wrote me a beautiful Christmas card from the heart that had me in tears also

My parents gave me an entire new set of pots and pans, a knife block and set of knives, and 5 new spoons/flippers etc! We really needed that!!

Having my son on Christmas morning with me. Now that he is an adult and away at school, I treasure every minute that I get to spend with him more than any material possession I could receive.

My sis gave me three books I wanted - one is a history of American birding, two others about prairie life in IL. I haven't had any good books to read in so long - can't wait to dig in during the cold months of Jan/Feb.
