    Gift cards went to:

    Comforter
    Bathroom mats
    Socks
    Slippers

Any guesses as to which of us did the majority of the choosing?

I like socks, though, so no complaints here.

I let myself buy some baby stuff with mine. ($100) I have my first grand baby due in April and she is not in the budget. (they will be living here at home with me)

For $60 I scored lots of clothes, pack & play, swing, rocking chair on Craig's List, then spent about $20 at various thrift shops around town on baby clothes. I used a $25 Target gift card to buy baby socks and the softest blanket EVER for her. (it has pink satin trim that says Thank Heaven for Little Girls)

I have about $20 left that I'm throwing into the bank today as I'm done baby-shopping and don't need anything myself.

    Full-time job
    Car loan and personal loan
    Challenges for 2012:
2012 Grocery Budget Reduction Challenge- $100 a month. (down from $150) Hm, might be too low.
Electric Usage Challenge (doing well, under $70 most months)

Yah, I suck at this money stuff, I know. That's why I'm here.
