Default Did anyone receive any homemade gifts this year?

I know many of us here at the village made homemade gifts this year. I'm curious if any of you received any homemade gifts.

I received homemade lemon green tea hand soap in a mason jar dispenser. Loved it!

If you did make handmade gifts were they well received?

received a plaque from our oldest DD and SIL that DD made. It contains our last name initial. She did a beautiful job on it.

I also made a throw for a friend, she was extremely excited over it.

I didn't get or give anything homemade. My grandma got a handmade apron and an ornament from her sister. I was a teeny bit jealous of the apron! Wish I had gotten one.

Didn't receive any HM gifts. Didn't receive any comments on the gifts that I made for the family - some years are just like that!!

I made ds19 a zombie kit and he was thrilled with it! Took it to show to friends. I made ds10 a custom creeper Minecraft shirt and made him a bunch of Minecraft figures out of cardstock and he loved them! I had been saving up wine corks for a long time and made dh a cork wreath...he didn't seem too excited over it...oh, well, guess I just wasted my corks! Well, he did hang it up so I get to enjoy the look of it at least. He made me a certificate for a day of his undivided attention doing whatever I want. I liked that!

I made homemade doggy treats for all of my families dogs who are a huge part of our family. They were very well received (by the people and the dogs!) Although the plan was almost killed when my dog snarfed down a half baking sheet of raw treats in a span of 2 minutes...my fault, I left them within reach. To the store for more whole wheat flour saved the day.
I also did cornbread/beans in a jar gifts for the men and they seemed to like them.

I got one homemade gift and it was from my sister; she had a co-worker make me a very pretty knitted beret. I liked it.

I never received any homemade gifts. I did give an assortment to different people and they seemed to like them.

We got a wonderful plate of homemade cookies from DH's boss's wife. She makes a ton every year & I look forward to them so much!!

My daughter in law made me a really cool magnetic message board from a pizza tin. It has a magnetic clip made from a clothes pin, decorated with little colored stones. SO cute! She also made me two ceramic coasters, not sure how, also very nice. (I am a coaster fanatic),

I made crocheted flowers & my grand daughters & daughters in law picked out their choice of headband & flowers (I bought the head bands) & I custom made them on the spot for them. They were very excited. I intended to get them done & wrapped up, but didn't. They asked me about them & even hung around a few minutes longer than expected while I anchored the flowers to the bands.

My MIL gifted us several homemade gifts this year.. she hand painted ornaments, decoupaged clear glass plates, made potato jewelry, canned goods(pears, salsa, cinnamon pickles, honey butter, ), had hand crafted linen sachets made with her mother and grandmothers linens , made baked potato pockets for the microwave for each of her 'daughters' , one bio and two in law!
