My kids slept until 8:30 this morning and only woke up because I wanted to see what Santa brought.

Mine were up too early!! I would have slept in, but they wanted to get up and play with Santa toys (paintball guns). They are still outside in the cold playing with them. At least the paint comes out of their clothing. I already washed one load just the make sure...lol!!

Gosh....my older son would wake up the younger son as soon as he thought we were asleep.

    They were 6 years apart.

By the time he was 12 I figured out how to make him quit doing that!

I got two of those huge lawn and leaf size Christams sacks and put all their stuff in it and didn't put names on them. Told him if he waited till after 7am, I would be happy to get up, if not, what ever his brother got to first was his brother's toys, no matter what....

After that he made sure his brother slept til he was ready for him to get up.

Finally...they woke around 10 (with a little prodding from me ).
We had a great morning - I was a little hyper from 4 cups of coffee (usually only have one in the a.m.). My parents made it in around 3 p.m. So we had a 2nd go around of gifts at 5 before dinner. It was a nice day. - jul

Our kids had a blast opening their presents at my mom and dads. It was an exciting Christmas for all of them.
