After the gift opening this morning, I went through the pile of gift wrap and salvaged several good size pieces to use next year....I also got 6 metallic bows and one gift bag out of the deal.

The oven roaster chicken is cooking.....they were B1G2 free a couple of months ago, and all the trimmings that I am serving were loss leaders over the past couple of months.

    Merry Christmas!

Way to go Katiebug! You are truely frugal. I never thought of salvaging the gift wrap. I only keep the shirt boxes and bags.

Well, DH is firing up the BBQ to roast the prime rib and the oven is heating for his special baked potaotes (crab/artichoke!). I am going to vacuum and we'll be set. Have a great day, everyone!
