Question Were your kids happy with what they got?

My kids surprised me because although they wanted a pioneer Christmas I wondered how they'd be with only books as boughten gifts. They were so excited about what they got and said "next year, can we have no boughten gifts, all homemade".

    How about your kids?

Yes, they were very happy! Their gifts were all bought. DS#2 gave homemade gifts though. I loved his gifts!

my two were pretty pleased. i'm thinking of only doing homemade gifts next year since the granparents and such send enough toys. i just have to come up with what to make them.

Mine were very happy, I only made a few homemade gifts, Kaftans for dd, a throw for dd, and some gifts we gave away.......
Some of the gifts the kids got were recycled, but they never knew the difference......
