Cute idea for Christmas present........and cheap!
Got this in an email and thought it was pretty cute.
For the people that 'craft' their own presents, this would be SUPER EASY!! And if you have your own fibers........SUPER CHEAP......if you don't have your own--- 'mooch some' from a friend..........wouldn't take much! Only have to be creative and able to sew a straight line. Could even sew it by hand----but that thought makes me SHUDDER!!!
(if it can't be done on a sewing machine, I probably won't be doing it!!)
I can see where you could make it for a male or female, depending on colors and fiber you used.....and even for the people 'down south' that don't have much of a winter........use cotton and make it more open........
ENJOY!!.........I am going to have to make some...........soon, I hope.

What a fun idea - I could even do it here!!

I've made one of those and they take a lot more yarn and thread than you think, especially if you don't want it to look skimpy. Great if you have a lot of leftovers, not so great if you're thinking of buying the supplies -- the nicer yarns and silk ribbon get expensive fast.
Also, test your stabilizer beforehand. Make a small sample piece.Use it up, Wear it out,
